Be Mentored By a Leader and Philanthropist

This month sees 100 Women launch our Member Mentor Offer. If you’re thinking of joining 100 Women or renewing your membership – now is a great time.

Every NEW and RENEWING member, who has joined before 31 August, will go into the draw to win one of eight mentoring sessions with the wonderful leaders and philanthropists below who have each donated an hour of their time to mentor one 100 Women member each!

Here’s an overview of our generous mentors:

Rabia Siddique – International Humanitarian & 100 Women Ambassador

Rabia is a criminal and human rights lawyer, a retired British Army officer, a former terrorism and war crimes prosecutor, a professional speaker, trainer, MC, facilitator and published author. In 2006 Rabia was awarded a Queen’s commendation for her human rights work in Iraq and in 2009 was the Runner Up for Australian Woman of the Year UK. More recently Rabia was named as one of the 2014 Telstra Business Women’s Award Finalists and one of the 100 most influential women in Australia by Westpac and the Australian Financial Review. Rabia was also announced as a finalist for the 2016 Australian of the Year Awards.

 

Rabia is also a 100 Women Ambassador.

 

Paul Blackburne – Owner/Managing Director at Blackburn Group

Paul is the Owner, Founder and Managing Director of Blackburne. He has been recognised with a number of leading awards including: WA Business News 40under40 First Amongst Equals Winner,

2014 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist and 2016 BRW Young Rich List (5th Place).

 

Paul is also the co-founder and start-up funder of the Cambodian Children’s Fund (CCF) – Child Protection Unit (CPU) in Cambodia.

 

Fadzi Whande – Diversity & Inclusion Strategist & 100 Women Ambassador

Fadzi Whande is a Global Diversity and Inclusion Strategist and has extensive experience in community development and social justice as a speaker, trainer, consultant, facilitator, and activist.

 

In 2015 she wrote the ground breaking proposal and secured a US Embassy grant to provide the award winning Courageous Conversations about Race© suite of training programs to law enforcement agencies in Western Australia. As Founder and Director of Whande Group, her work primarily focuses on capacity building and leadership development that addresses systemic and institutionalised barriers held towards historically undermined groups.

 

Vivienne Powe –100 Women Board Member

Vivienne is the founder of Constellation Capital Partners, an independent business development and advisory firm, which specialises in the natural resources and infrastructure sectors. Prior to this she worked at executive level for over 20 years in the global mining and metals and oil and gas industries leading operations and corporate functions (strategy, business development and governance).

 

Mark Fitzpatrick – CEO and Alchemist Foundation Board

Mark Fitzpatrick is the Chief Executive Officer of Telethon Speech and Hearing. With a long association with the not-for-profit sector and, he believes in giving back to the community and has been the President of edventures WA – a not-for-profit that seeks to help at-risk children in the south eastern metropolitan corridor of Perth. Mark is currently the Vice-President of WACOSS – WA’s community sector peak body and for 2015 and 2016 was the Co-Chair of Anti-Poverty Week.

 

Professor Lyn Beazley – Science Ambassador

Lyn Beazley has dedicated over 30 years to neuroscience, researching recovery from brain injury and changing clinical practice in the treatment of premature infants. As Western Australia’s Chief Scientist from 2006 to 2013, Lyn advised governments on science and innovation, worked closely with industry and was a science ambassador in Australia and internationally.

 

Michelle Coelho – State Manager WA at Beyond Bank

Michelle Coelho is the Western Australia State Manager for Beyond Bank Australia. After joining Beyond Bank as a Member Service Officer in 1998, Michelle has worked in a number of roles for the organisation including business development, lending, sales and customer service. With over 19 years’ experience in the finance industry, Michelle’s current role sees her focused on continuing to improve customer benefits, and delivering responsible and sustainable financial services to Beyond Bank’s customers throughout the state. Michelle holds an MBA from Curtin University and is a graduate of the AICD Company Director’s Course.

 

Alicia Curtis – 100 Women Co-Founder and Chair

Alicia Curtis is the founder of Alyceum, a successful leadership development company. She is one of Western Australia’s most inspiring social and business entrepreneurs as an award winning speaker, leadership facilitator and community change maker. She has a Masters in Business Leadership and was recognised in AFR’s 100 Women of Influence List in 2014.

 

Alicia is passionately driven by her purpose to ignite leaders to transform the world for the better – whether than be in the workplace or broader community.
