September Connect Event

September’s Connect event was held on a warm spring evening on in the outdoor area of Pica Bar.

About 15 new and prospective members gathered to meet with 100 Women committee members Sophie Frodsham, Michelle Slater, Trinity Brown, Amethyst Duggan, and latest edition to the advisory committee, Gabrielle Walker.

With spring in the air and the excitement of our first year coming to a close, the group stayed and chatted well into the night.

Our biggest event of the year, the Granting Ceremony, is just around the corner. As such, the quality and diversity of grant EOIs we received was a hot topic. Current members will be given priority for tickets to this event; however general public tickets will also be available. If you’d like to hear more about the organisations 100 Women will be assisting with our grants this event is one not to be missed.

With less than ONE month left to become a member and be eligible to vote in this year’s granting process there is no better time than now to join!

We continue to attract a diverse group of women interested in the concept of 100 Women so, if you haven’t attended a Connect event yet to meet the committee and other members, make sure you join us for our last meeting of the year at 5:30pm on Monday 13th October. We’ve been given a private viewing of the 2014 Black Swan Prize at Linton & Kay Gallery at Brookfield Place, entry is free and conversations will continue at Bar Lafayette afterwards.

RSVP for the October Connect event here.

In the meantime let us know if you or your organisation can help 100 Women make a meaningful impact in the lives of others by emailing [email protected].
