February 2023 Newsletter

Multiracial senior women taking a selife at bar terrace

Hello and a very warm welcome back to our community!

As Treasurer of 100 Women, I am proud to be working with the Board as we enter our 10th year of giving. Our members are the heart and soul of this giving circle and we are so thankful for your support.

So what’s in store for 2023? Our annual grants round will be opening next month and this year we will be offering multiple grants of up to $50,000 AUD.

In terms of events, we have an amazing Connect under the stars networking event and concert coming up next Wednesday 22nd February at Lamont’s Bishop’s House and it’s your last chance to book tickets. Please join us! We are delighted to share that the raffle prize that evening is a weekend stay at Pullman Resort Bunker Bay.

International Women’s Day is just around the corner and as always, there are lots of ways you can support 100 Women. Read on for more information.

For our members, we are delighted to launch a new annual tax statement that you can download via your Member Portal. This statement can show your total collective giving amount at EOFY. Remember your membership is 100% tax deductible!

Also in this newsletter, we shine a light on grant recipients Cambodian Children’s Fund to see the tireless work they are doing supporting girls education in Cambodia and we look at a few ways that you can fundraise for 100 Women if you would like to explore more ways to give back.

Finally, don’t miss out on reading our wonderful spotlight interviews with Nanna Faulkner (Volunteer) and Donna Edwards (Member).

It’s not too late to join our community and help improve the lives of disadvantaged women and girls right around the world. Thanks for your support we couldn’t do it without you!
