Welcome from our Trustee Board Member
Bianca Starcevich

It is an exciting time of year at 100 Women that takes us to the heart of what we do.

If you are new to 100 Women, a warm welcome to our community!

We are delighted to be announcing the finalists for the 2022 grants round at the upcoming Connect Event on the 1st September and it’s always a great opportunity to reflect on why we exist and the amazing impact every member has on improving lives for women and girls all around the world. There are a few tickets left, so get in quick if you are free to join us.

All of us are looking forward to the Gala Celebration on Friday 28th October, where the Grant recipients for 2022 will be announced. There are many people who volunteer their time to make this an amazing night of celebration and connection and we hope that you can join us. Tickets are now available (including a new “Couples” ticket member option) and we look forward to seeing you and celebrating with you on the night.

In this newsletter, we spotlight The Freedom Hub, a recent grant recipient to see the great work they are doing around women’s safety based on support from the members of 100 Women, together with a powerful article about the dark underbelly of Human Trafficking in Australia. Also we interview Meriel Steadman, our Governance Volunteer and Helen Cotter, another wonderful member.

It’s not too late to join 100 Women and help support better lives for even more women and girls right around the world. Thanks for your support we couldn’t do it without you!
