| Hello and a very warm welcome to our August Newsletter. Here at 100 Women we certainly have a spring in our step with the change of season upon us and our special 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner celebration just two weeks away. I recently joined 100 Women as a Board Member, and look forward supporting this wonderful organisation from my hometown of Brisbane which is the beautiful lands of the Turrbal and Jagera peoples. |
I am delighted to share that we had another successful round of membership voting and the outcomes were extremely close! This speaks volumes about the quality of the projects presented to 100 Women and that there are so many wonderful grassroots organisations out there changing women and girl’s lives for the better, every day. Thank you to everyone who took the time to read about our incredible finalists and vote for their favourites.
The Board have now approved the Member’s votes and will be giving away over $200,000 in funds. This is twice as much as we gave away in our inaugural year – 2014! We are absolutely thrilled to present the grants at our annual gala dinner celebration held at the Hyatt Regency Perth on Friday 15th September.

In this newsletter, we showcase the powerful work that Forever Projects have been doing in Tanzania, to provide women and their babies with health, safety and economic opportunity.
We also continue with our spotlight interviews, featuring a delightful duo – Charlotte Chapman (Volunteer) and Catherine Pazvakavambwa (Member).
