Passionate about community engagement in culturally safe environments that promotes growth, resilience and positive change, Nanna has extensive experience within both government and private sectors in areas of justice, education and community.
Nanna holds a first-class honours degree from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, where she investigated music creativity and drum circles as a vehicle for personal and social change and improved wellbeing amongst women in a Western Australian prison.
Nanna has held a wide range of roles within the Department of Justice working in women’s prisons and on state-wide strategic initiatives and projects. In education and music, Nanna has extensive experience as a music performer and educator, with a particular interest in early childhood.
Currently, Nanna is a Senior Project Officer – Thrive By Five for The Minderoo Foundation.
